The Easy Five Step Process to Making Your Song As A Gift
Step 1: After you fill out the form on the Pricing and Contact Information tab above and your payment has been processed, one of our musicians will contact you within 48 hours to give the first of two (up to a half hour) consultations. Typical turn over time for an original, personalized, recorded, mixed and mastered song ranges from two weeks to a month for completion depending on a number of factors. The process typically unfolds as follows:
Step 2: Consultation #1: Will be used to verify information and discuss what you want to be said and the general feel of the song you are looking for. If you haven't already done so on the form, you will be asked to provide three songs that can be found by the musician on the web (YouTube) in order for the musician to understand the "feel" you are looking for. You will be asked to provide a list of words or experiences to describe the subject and/or your relationship. This is where the personalization and formation really begin to shape your song.
Step 3: E-Mail #1: The musician will take the information discussed in the first consultation and will send you an mp3 of their artistic rendition of the kind of song you will be creating, at which point you are asked to listen to the song proposals and rate on a scale of 1 -10 (10 the highest) which is your favorite.
Step 4: Consultation #2: Is dedicated to the perfection of the song. After you have selected the song from the samples, your musician will elongate the song and add words to it. When this first comes together, it is referred to as the "Scratch Track" This is where you can give the artist some minor changes and critiques so that they can "tweak" the words if necessary.
Step 5: E-Mail #2: The musician sends you the mixed masterpiece that you've inspired and directed. On approval, if it hasn't already been done, the musician will finalize the song to allow for an optimal sound experience when played on a stereo. You are then for you to share that special moment with the one you love
